Fumihiro Tanno, started kickboxing when he was 15 years old. In only 2 short years he became a professional fighter at the age of 17. In Okinawa ,Japan Sept 2005 Hiro fought in a Kick Boxing tournament fighting 3 times in one night winning all 3 of his fights. Local Kick Boxing (NJKF, MA, All Japan promotion) with a total record 22 fights 12win(5KO) 10 loses. In Feb 2009 Hiro fought for the USMF Muay Thai Championship Title match against Phanuwat “Coke” Chunhawat.
Hiro has since retired from fighting and has dedicated his life to teaching and coaching. He has a very progressive style of Kickboxing and Muay Thai which he believes is the best combination for fighting. His goal for City Of Champions is to build a strong team and to share his knowledge with all his students. ” I want to make some pro fighters of my own now from the students who want to fight, and if anyone just wants to get in shape or learn better technique I am available for personal training as well.”
